Green Hills Engineering College, Kumarhatti, Solan (H.P.) is a private, self-financed, non-government, technical educational institute promoted by the Green Hills Engineering College Society. The college is situated amongst the serene and sylvan valley of Gandhi gram at an equal distance from Shimla and Chandigarh. The lush green campus of the college is spread over 30 acres of land, enriched with flora and fauna, and is aesthetically planned and designed with excellent facilities to develop a congenial environment for the students to pursue their studies, away from the daily hustle and bustle of city life.The institute has a privilege of having academicians, educationist, bureaucrats and philanthropists of admirable stature across the nation. Introduction

Green Hills Engineering College is a private, self-financed, non-government, Technical Educational Institute promoted by Green Hills Engineering College Society. The College received the approval of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) in the year 2003 and started with four-year Bachelor of Engineering Degree Courses in four disciplines and has introduced two more degree courses thereafter. The college has also stared 2-year M.Tech. Degree Courses in Electronics & Communication Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.
