RULES REGARDING MAINTENANCE OF DISCIPLINE IN THE HOSTEL
a) The residents are expected to live in the hostel as a community and with a full sense of responsibility.
b) The residents are not allowed to gamble in the hostel premises.
c) The residents are not allowed to bring intoxicants and consume the same in the hostel premises.
d) The residents are not allowed to bring any guest of the opposite sex in their rooms, except with the prior written permission of the Hostel Warden.
e) The hostel residents are not allowed to keep guests in their rooms, without the prior written permission of the Hostel Warden.
f) The residents shall not commit any breach of peace in the Hostel premises.
g) The residents shall not invite undesirable elements into hostel premises.
h) The residents are not permitted to stay overnight out of the hostels or go out of station without prior permission of the Hostel Warden.
i) The residents are not permitted to install and use any electrical appliance except a wall light, a table lamp and fan in their rooms. A breach of this rule may result in the forfeiture of the appliances seized, as well as fine.
j) Residents are not permitted to keep with them any offensive weapon, such as firearms, dagger or khukhri etc. Strict action will be taken against anyone found in possession of such a weapon.
k) A Hostel Discipline Committee comprising of senior and nominated members from students shall assist the Hostel Warden in monitoring the discipline in the Hostel.
I) A resident shall not keep cash exceeding Rs. 1000/-with him/her in their room. Excess amount if any should be deposited in the bank in their bank account.
m) Smoking is prohibited in the hostel and College Campus.
