Discipline and Conduct of Students
a) All Students are under the disciplinary control of the Principal and must confirm to the rules of the College. Absence from lectures, tutorials, practical, workshop and sessional test without previous sanction will be viewed very seriously and disciplinary action will be taken against such defaulter. Breach of rules, misconduct. poor attendance or idleness will render a student liable to fine, expulsion or other disciplinary measures which the Principal may deem fit. Such action is also likely, if in the opinion of the Principal reasonable progress and application in work and studies are not being shown by the student.
b) All the students are directed to dress-up properly in the College, Hostels, Mess, and Play fields etc. During winter, students are expected to use College blazer. All students are required to carry their Identity cards during college hours.
c) While undergoing practical training, students must conform in every respect the rules of the department's establishments in which they are taking training.
d) Students who will be absent for seven days consecutively without any notice, either from the college or from practical training may not be allowed to attend class until a satisfactory explanation is submitted by that student and accepted by the authority.
e) Students desiring to leave the college permanently must apply in writing and such application must be supported by written consent of his/her parents or guardian.
f) Students are strictly forbidden from forwarding applications; appeals or any other communication direct to any authorities other than the Principal and any contravention of this rule will make them liable to disciplinary action.
g) Students are permitted to form only such associations or dubs (recreation or otherwise) at the college as has been regularly approved by the Principal and for which sanction must have been reconfirmed at the beginning of each new academic session. All associations must be open to membership regardless of religion, community or political ideology. In no circumstances any association, the object of which is directly or indirectly communal or political will be permitted at the college campus.
h) Students claiming benefits/concession on medical ground are required to submit medical certificate from government hospital or dispensary I College Medical Officer. The certificate should be submitted within a week of re-joining the college after illness, by the student concerned.
i) Any student found under the influence of intoxication of drugs/alcohol in the college campus is liable to be taken strict disciplinary action against his / her, which may lead to expulsion from the college.
j) The name of the student who fails to submit the University Examination Form for the semester in which he has been studying shall be removed from the rolls of the college.
k) Students are advised to regularly check the notices displayed on the College/hostel notice boards. The notices displayed on the various notice boards are deemed to have been served on the student.
l) No student will be allowed to travel in the college bus without pass. Any student found traveling in the college bus without pass will be fined one semester bus fare.
m) Principal's decision in all matters will be final.
