• Electrical engineering generally deals with the study and application of electricity, electronics, and electromagnetism, which is further subdivided into a wide range of sub-fields including electronics, digital computers, power engineering, telecommunications, control systems, instrumentation, and microelectronics.
• Electrical Engineering is a portfolio of facilities, while theory gives you conceptual knowledge, practical gives you real-time exposure. • Electrical Engineers are much in demand in India. In the recent years, from house to companies every where there is a necessity of electricity to function, offering numerous opportunities to electrical engineers. These engineers can work in atomic power plants, hydel or thermal power plants. Job opportunities are ample in both private and public sector like railways, civil aviation, electricity board and utility companies, electrical design and consultancy firms and all types of manufacturing industries.

Eligibility:-All those candidates who have passed the 10+2 examination from a board recognized or established by Central/State Government through a legislation with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects:- 1.Chemistry 2.Biotechnology 3. Biology 4.Computer Science/Technical Vocational Subject

B. Tech 2nd Year (Lateral Entry)

• All those candidates who have passed the Diploma examination from an AICTE approved Institution and have obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology shall be eligible to apply.
